College Finder

Find the right type of college for your marks, stream and budget — government, private, degree or diploma — with honest, general guidance.

What Is the College Finder?

The College Finder helps students after Class 12 think about their next step. Enter your marks, stream and budget preference, and it lists the types of colleges that may suit you — government colleges, private colleges, degree colleges and diploma courses — with general notes on each type.

How to Use It — Step by Step

  1. Enter your marks percentage (0 to 100).
  2. Choose your stream — Science, Commerce or Arts.
  3. Choose your budget preference — Low, Moderate or Higher.
  4. Press Find Colleges. The list of college types appears instantly and is also checked on the server.

Worked Example

A student with 72% in the Commerce stream and a Moderate budget would see government colleges, private colleges, degree colleges offering B.Com. and related courses, and diploma or vocational courses — each with notes on fees, admission and what to check before applying.
