Result Analyzer

Paste your class result — one student per line — and get a merit list, class average, pass percentage and topper in seconds.

What Is a Result Analyzer?

A result analyzer takes the marks of a whole class and turns them into useful numbers: who topped the class, the class average, how many students passed, and a merit list with every student ranked from highest to lowest. It analyses one subject at a time, so the picture stays clear.

How to Use It — Step by Step

  1. Write one student per line in the box, in the format Name, marks — for example Priya Sharma, 92.
  2. Marks must be from 0 to 100. You can enter up to 30 students.
  3. Press Analyze Result. The merit list, class average, pass percentage and topper appear instantly.
  4. Press Print Analysis to print it or save it as a PDF.

Worked Example

For 5 students scoring 92, 86, 74, 58 and 29: the topper is the student with 92, the class average is (92 + 86 + 74 + 58 + 29) ÷ 5 = 67.8, and 4 of 5 students passed (marks of 33 or more), so the pass percentage is 80%.

FAQs

What marks count as a pass?

33 marks or more out of 100 counts as a pass in this analyzer. A student scoring below 33 is shown as Fail in the merit list.

What if two students have the same marks?

They share the same rank in the merit list. For example, if two students tie for first place, both are Rank 1 and the next student is Rank 3.

Can I analyze more than one subject at once?

No — this analyzer is for one subject at a time, which keeps the average and merit list clear. Analyze each subject separately, or use the Report Card Generator for one student’s full result.
