What Is an Exam Paper Generator?
An exam paper generator builds a ready-to-print question paper from a small bank of sample questions. You choose the class, subject, total marks and number of questions, and it adds the paper heading, instructions, marks for each question and the time allowed — with the marks split as evenly as possible across the questions.
How to Use It — Step by Step
- Enter the exam name, for example “Unit Test 1”.
- Choose the class and subject, then the total marks (20, 40, 50 or 100).
- Choose how many questions the paper should have (5–12).
- Press Generate Exam Paper, check the paper, then press Print Exam Paper to print it or save it as a PDF.

How are the marks divided between questions?
The total marks are split as evenly as possible. For example, 50 marks over 8 questions gives two questions of 7 marks and six of 6 marks, which adds up to exactly 50.
Can I change the questions?
Yes — the questions are samples to get you started. Replace them with your own questions before using the paper in a real exam.
