What Is the Scholarship Finder?
The Scholarship Finder is a simple guide for school students and parents. It takes your class, state, category and family income and points you to the types of scholarships worth checking — such as pre-matric, post-matric, merit-based and state scholarships. It does not promise money or approval; it only helps you know where to look.
How to Use It — Step by Step
- Enter the student's class (1 to 12).
- Choose your state or union territory from the list.
- Choose the student's category (General, OBC, SC or ST).
- Enter the annual family income in rupees.
- Press Find Scholarships. The list of scholarship types to check appears instantly and is also checked on the server.
Worked Example
A student in Class 9 from Uttar Pradesh, category OBC, with a family income of Rs. 150,000 would see pre-matric and post-matric scholarship types, a category-based type, a merit-based type and a state scholarship type to check on the official portals.
